Terms of service

The deal between us.

Last updated: 3 June 2026

1. The service

cueselect provides online booking software for snooker and pool venues. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you sign up on behalf of a venue, you confirm you have authority to do so.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for everything that happens on your account — including keeping your password safe and your staff list up-to-date. Tell us immediately at security@cueselect.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Plans & payments

  • The Free plan is always free for up to the stated limits.
  • Club and Pro plans are billed in advance (monthly or annually), automatically renewed, and can be cancelled anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Per-booking transaction fees are deducted at the time of payment, all-in (includes Stripe's card-processing fee).
  • Prices can change with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.
  • We don't refund partial months. Annual plans can be refunded pro-rata within the first 14 days.

4. Your content & customers

Data you put into cueselect (venues, tables, bookings, customer records) belongs to you. We store, process and display it so the platform works. You're responsible for complying with data-protection law for the customer data you collect — see our privacy policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use cueselect for anything illegal, to harass people, to resell it as your own, or to hammer our API beyond reasonable limits. We can suspend accounts that do.

6. Uptime

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee a specific service level. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

7. Liability

We're not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, or data loss beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you've paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability we can't legally limit (death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).

8. Ending the agreement

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. We can close an account for material breach of these terms, giving 14 days' notice where possible.

9. Changes

We'll update these terms from time to time and email account holders about material changes. Continued use means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
