Who we are
cueselect Ltd ("cueselect", "we", "us") is the data controller for this website and platform. You can reach us at privacy@cueselect.com.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone (optional), hashed password, or OAuth identifiers from Google/Facebook if you sign in that way.
- Venue data — venue name, address, tables, opening hours, rates, staff roles.
- Booking data — customer name/email/phone supplied at booking, start/end time, price, status.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser user-agent, session cookies, error logs.
Why we use it
- To run your bookings and keep your account working (contract).
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts (contract).
- To prevent fraud and keep the platform secure (legitimate interest).
- To comply with UK tax and accounting rules (legal obligation).
We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising.
Who we share with
- Stripe — card processing and subscription billing.
- Mailjet — transactional email delivery.
- Our hosting provider — servers and databases (UK/EU data centres).
- Google / Facebook — only if you choose to sign in with them.
No one else, unless we're legally required (court order, regulatory request).
How long we keep it
Account and booking records stay while your account is active, plus 6 years after closure to meet HMRC record-keeping rules. Error logs are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- Ask for a copy of your data (export).
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and data (subject to the 6-year retention above for financial records).
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Email privacy@cueselect.com to exercise any of these. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a session cookie (to keep you logged in), a CSRF cookie (to stop cross-site request forgery), and — if you arrive via an affiliate link — a 30-day referrer cookie. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Changes
We'll update the "last updated" date above and email account holders about anything material.
